Here are a mix of impact weapons, shields, and helmets for sale. These require more training, not less, than steel swords for effective use on stage.

 

    QUARTERSTAFF - 72", in stiff oak or flexible rattan. Call for info on the pro’s and cons for each.

H50 - rattan        $25

H51 - red oak      $24

Can't make up your mind?  Try a rattan staff with an oak veneer!       H52 - veneer     $28

 

 

 

    H54 - SHINAI - 44", in flexible bamboo. Kendo is a much faster and more modern "slapping" style of Japanese swordplay, and uses these practice weapons made of bamboo slats that make a satisfying "smack" when striking an opponent, but very little damage.  $25

 

 

    H81 – BILLY CLUB –  18", common large city police tool for the last 200 years.  $30

 

 

    Y47 - MEDIEVAL HELMET – in black steel with an adjustable liner, reminiscent of the early Norman style, but with a bit more security for that nose-guard.  $48

 

 

    Y48 - CHAIN MAIL HOOD  – in 16 gauge stainless steel rings. Weigh 5 1/2 lbs each, one size fits all.       $22
